Benjamin Levy
Benjamin, a choreographer, dancer, and director from San Francisco (USA), is highly regarded for his cutting-edge and interdisciplinary work. He founded the LEVYdance company in 2002. The ensemble is known for its innovative works and collaborations and Ben was designated by Dance Magazine in 2004 as one of the “Top 25 Choreographers to Watch”.
Benjamin’s classes especially concentrate on physical movement and agility, the subsequent attained expressiveness of the body as well as the execution of isolated motion sequences. The emphasis is on exploring the different dynamics inherent in movement, expanding the physical spectrum to include nuance and specificity. The goal is to expand the core competences of the participants.
