Babson

Ousmane Baba Sy – called Babson – was part of the opening act at the World Cup in France 1998, collaborating with the legendary Hip-Hop group “Wanted Posse”. Since then, he has won numerous Battles including the Hip-Hop World Championship: “Battle of the Year” in 2001.

A four-time winner of the “Juste Debout” competition, Babson is often asked to judge at dance contests or instruct at workshops all around the globe. His Senegal heritage is very important to him, for there he finds his inspiration for the concept of Afro House, a mix of House Dance with traditional African Dances.
